This project is the best example of utilizing space that you already have. This closet was taking up space yet has almost nothing inside it, we decided to utilize the space and allocate it for bags, scarves and accessories.

Toys

If you have kids then you know how crazy organizing toys can be. This closet has all the toys piled up which made it very hard for the kids and mom to organize. We added some shelving space in the closet to be able to categorize and contain each and every toy. Check out the video to see the transformation.

Adding shelves and clear baskets creates an organized space and makes it easier to clean up. Here we used clear boxes to make it easier for the kids to identify what items are inside each box . For older kids, the labeling system works perfectly as they can return each item back to where it belongs after play time.

Food Storage

If you have a small kitchen and don’t have space for a fully fledged pantry, you will tend to throw your food (and a couple of other things) into a cabinet and let it pile there day after day. We like to use simple solutions to make use of the space and give each item a home.

By using food storage containers we managed to keep all the food contained and labeled for easy access and usage. We also categorized the items and moved the irrelevant items to a different cabinet. Lastly, we had extra space to place all the Tupperware nicely in the bottom shelf.
